dc.description | This module is the product of a KU Libraries Information Literacy Mini-Grant. The mini-grants program pairs faculty with a team of librarians to redesign an assignment in an undergraduate course to meet an information literacy learning outcome. One outcome of the mini-grants program is to share information literacy assignment materials as an Open Educational Resource (OER). | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This module introduces BUS 120 students to the BEAM analysis for organizing information. Students in BUS 120 complete a case study about a local business that culminates in a presentation of a marketing plan for that business. After working through the tutorial, students are provided a BEAM analysis worksheet and in-class activity to practice organizing information for their case study according to the BEAM framework. | |
