The Dance of Deception
Abstract
All women are deeply affected by lying and faking, by silence and pretending, by self-deception, and by brave as well as misguided efforts to tell the truth. This film inspires listeners to confront the many faces of deception in our lives and to consider the lies, secrets and silences, our own and those of others, that affect us. Through examples that are startlingly intimate and bold, Dr. Harriet Lerner brings the listeners to a new consciousness about the countless ways (and whys) that women show the false and hide the real.
