dc.description.abstract | Este estudio ofrece un análisis contrastivo de dos casos de explotación de patrimonio cultural de la alta modernidad en el cine contemporáneo: Shakespeare in Love (1998) y Lope (2010). Los patrimonios culturales encarnados en las figuras de Lope de Vega y William Shakespeare se despliegan en las dos películas de manera que problematiza el concepto tradicional del llamado “campo de producción cultural” (Pierre Bordieu) en la actualidad, ya que la producción cinemática es guiada por estructuras financieras cada vez más globalizadas, sin respeto a las identidades nacionales que estimulan el “capital cultural” de los dos dramaturgos en cuestión. Más allá de una lectura comparada de las dos películas, el artículo se enfoca en las complicadas dinámicas entre patrimonio cultural y su explotación económica, y en lo que los estudios culturales puedan aportar para su estudio. | en_US |
