dc.description.abstract | This article surveys significant trends in search and seizure law. Recent United States Supreme Court decisions are reviewed. The scope of this survey is limited to the following four areas: (1) fourth amendment protected interests; (2) the probable cause requirement; (3) the automobile exception to the warrant requirement; and (4) the "good faith" exception to the exclusionary rule. These four areas were selected because of their practical and doctrinal significance. | |
