dc.description.abstract | The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and the Lawrence City Commission requested this study. Its purpose is to provide area businesses with information about the benefit packages that major employers in Lawrence and Douglas County use to attract and retain employees.
In this report, a wide variety of benefits are systematically recorded and broken down by type of business and size of company. The information is reported in a way that provides complete information while protecting the confidentiality of the companies surveyed. Of the 102 businesses that were asked to respond to this telephone survey, 67 responded. In total, the businesses surveyed employ 7,810 people. | en_US |
