This report presents the results of an information utilization survey of Kansas legislators, administrators, and interest groups. The objective was to examine the extent to which various legislative participants use different sources of information, inquire into the possible uses of social science information, explain the differential use of scientific reports, and analyze the linkage between the use of a specific report and public policy outcomes.
