dc.description.abstract | Baume and Perrot used the Phase law method to investigate the system CH3OH + NH3. Broderson used the same method with the system C2H5OH + NH3. Baume and Perrot found that the compound CH3.OH.NH3 was formed in the ammonia methyl alcohol system. Broderson found the compounds formed in the ammonia ethyl alcohol system to be C2H5.OH.NH3 and 2(C2H5.OH).NH3. The object of this work was to apply the Phase law method to systems of ammonia and some of the other alcohols of this series. | |
