For this tutorial you will need: 1 tissue box to wrap. This can be in any size or shape, expect for the square shaped tissue boxes. One furoshiki cloth that is around the size of 20 to 30 inches. You can use any types of cloth. If you want a more structured and neat looking tissue box cover, we recommend using cotton. We used a normal sized bandana here to demonstrate here.

Directions on how to wrap a tissue box:

1. You will first need to spread out the furoshiki cloth with the pattern side away from you and place the tissue box in the middle, with the edges of the box parallel to the edges of the cloth. 2. You can tuck the tissue inside the box to avoid it getting wrinkly (Optional). 3. You will then make a tie right above the edge of the tissue box and tie again. 4. Go on to the other side and do it again. Make a knot above the edge of the tissue box. At this point, make sure the box is tightly secured inside. 5. Take the extra piece of cloth that is dangling between the tie and tuck that piece under the tie you made on both sides. 6. And for the final step, make the edges near the actual tissue neat and pull out the tissue out. Directions to tie a basic furoshiki knot (mamusubi): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCg34wozIoA
