This interview was conducted on July 24, 2015, at Smith Hall on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas. This interview includes discussion of David’s history with the Kansas Zen Center, his own story of discovering Zen, and his thoughts on meditation. This interview was conducted for the Religion in Kansas Project as part of a summer fieldwork internship funded by the Friends of the Department of Religious Studies.en_US
