Broadcast Transcript: As we mentioned in an earlier Postcard, dogs have only recently become favored pets rather than favorite meals here in China. And, if you needed further proof of this transformation, here it is: Cesar Millan has been tapped to star in a Chinese TV show called "Leader of the Pack." Mr. Millan, as you might know, is famous for being the Dog Whisperer. His training programs and TV show have made him a household name among dog owners. His approach is all about exercise, discipline and affection and, of course, who is the alpha. The Chinese government likes to be the alpha and is known for the rules, values and limitations it imposes, often arbitrarily, on the media. But Mr. Millan anticipates no problem with this: rules and limitations are after all, what Mr. Millan is all about. Which, of course, begs the question: Should his Chinese TV show be called Government Censor Whisperer? #China #Hacker #CEAS
