Broadcast Transcript: Did you know that fully 21 world religions express some version of the Golden Rule: from Buddhism to Daoism, from Shinto to Confucianism, from Christianity to Islam to Judaism, each one has its own way of telling people to be humane to others. And one mother is on a quest to bring this point home to schoolchildren in Japan. Last year, five Japanese schoolchildren--her daughter among them--committed suicide and, in just about every case, bullying was blamed. "Every adult," she says "has to teach children not to do anything they don't want their friends to do to them." Clearly she is using her tragedy as a bully pulpit against bullies: it just seems fitting. #ceas #hacker #japan #tsutsui
