dc.description.abstractOral history interview with Jim Ryan conducted by Sarah Heidrick in Salina, Kansas, on November 9, 2009. In this interview, Jim Ryan discusses his childhood in a Catholic household, and his transition to the Methodist Church upon marriage. He describes the organization and activities of the University United Methodist Church in Salina, Kansas, as well as the evolution of the church services at University Methodist Church over the course of the 40 years he has attended the church. This interview was conducted for the Religion in Kansas course taught at the University of Kansas by Dr. Timothy Miller in the fall of 2009.
