dc.description.abstractOral history interview with Ron Channell and Vickie Channell conducted by Emily Stratton in Lawrence, Kansas, on November 13, 2010. In this interview, Ron Channell, pastor of Family Church of Lawrence, discusses his experiences with getting Family Church established, including the many challenges and relocations he and the congregants have undergone, as well as the rewarding moments and visions he has for the church in the future. Near the end of the interview, Ron’s wife, Vickie, joins in to tell a few of her own stories about Family Church. This interview was conducted for the Religion in Kansas course taught at the University of Kansas by Dr. Timothy Miller in the fall of 2010.
