Two species of corallimorpharians and six of actiniarians from Antarctic and Subantarctic seas are redescribed; taxonomic, nomenclatural, and distributional issues are discussed for each. The taxa are *Corallimorphus profundus* and *C. rigidus* (family Corallimorphidae), *Isosicyonis alba* (family Actiniidae), *Actinostola crassicornis*, *Antholoba achates*, *Sicyonis erythrocephala*, and *Stomphia selaginella* (family Actinostolidae) and *Actinoscyphia plebeia* (family Actinoscyphiidae). All were previously known from southern seas; the occurence of *I. alba* south of the Antarctic Convergence is confirmed.
