It is the purpose of this study to investigate the musical attitudes of 24 children and their environmental backgrounds. This case study will investigate selected individuals of grades four, five and six and try to see and understand how their attitudes toward music were formed. If these influences can be determined, then music educators with a greater understanding of attitude-formation can have a better chance of influencing children.en_US
