Pediatric Rheumatology 2007, 5(1):10.https://hdl.handle.net/2271/608Poor adherence to medical regimens can compromise the efficacy of treatments for children and adolescents with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). The purpose of this review is to describe medical regimens for the treatment of JRA and the rates of adherence to these regimens. We also summarize and critically the few research studies aimed at improving adherence to regimens for JRA. Finally, we summarize strategies for enhancing adherence in clinical practice.en-USThis is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0AlgorithmsComputer SimulationCoronary CirculationFemaleHumansImage Interpretation, Computer-AssistedMagnetic Resonance Imaging, CineMaleModels, CardiovascularMyocardial Perfusion Imaging/ methodsObserver VariationPredictive Value of TestsReference ValuesReproducibility of ResultsSpin LabelsYoung AdultImproving adherence to medical regimens for juvenile rheumatoid arthritisArticle10.1186/1546-0096-5-10PMC19014709openAccess
