The mini-grants program pairs faculty with a team of librarians to redesign an assignment in an undergraduate course to meet an information literacy learning outcome. One outcome of the mini-grants program is to share information literacy assignment materials as an Open Educational Resource (OER).This module introduces BUS 120 students to the BEAM analysis for organizing information. Students in BUS 120 complete a case study about a local business that culminates in a presentation of a marketing plan for that business. After working through the tutorial, students are provided a BEAM analysis worksheet and in-class activity to practice organizing information for their case study according to the BEAM framework.Copyright is held by the authors.
