Abstract
It seems that the ability to “hold hope” for clients, particularly in moments of hopelessness on the client’s end, may be a unique and crucial yet under researched concept of the therapeutic process. This scoping review seeks to map out the existing literature on therapist hope, specifically how therapist hope is conceptualized, measured, and applied in clinical practice within empirical studies.
