Abstract
Broadcast Transcript: Breaking news from South Korea's hi-tech frontline. With the help of drosophila, or the fruit fly, scientists here have discovered strands of genetic material that control growth in the body. They're called micro-RNA and people have hundreds of them, that each control a wide range of functions. When they removed a strand of this material from the fat cells of both male and female fruit flies, the flies became smaller. When the RNA was injected back into the flies, they returned to their normal size. The futuristic speculation is that one day people will be able to customize their own physiques. Goodbye breast augmentation surgery, liposuction and spam promising the enhancement of a certain male organ.
