Abstract
The purpose of this quality improvement project was to create a standardized approach for comprehensive program evaluation that can be consistently applied in the Ambulatory setting of a Magnet recognized, regional, quaternary pediatric hospital system. Using a goal-based framework, a standardized program evaluation template was designed and piloted.A survey was used to assess acceptability, appropriateness, and feasibility of the template. As leading indicators of implementation success, the survey outcomes indicate perception that the template is satisfactory, relevant, and able to be successfully carried out within this organization. Unbiased formative and summative assessments were producible for decision makers in the organization.
