Abstract
Provides an introduction to the study of generations with a focus on the Millennial generation, also referred to as Generation Y (born 1982-2002). Identifies characteristics associated with this generation, including the "information-age mindset," and outlines the significance of these characteristics for the development and delivery of instructional service programs in academic libraries.
