Description
On Thursday, October 22, 2015, internationally-known open access advocates Erin McKiernan, postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, and visiting scholar at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Town Peterson, university distinguished professor of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and senior curator at the Biodiversity Institute, discussed the benefits and potential concerns related to publishing ‘open,’ particularly for early career researchers and graduate students. Following their conversation, the audience was invited to participate on these and other topics associated with open access.
