Abstract
The article focuses on a reception study in which second, fourth, and sixth graders, and adults were questioned about their perceptions of and responses to a production of Barry Kornhauser's This Is Not a Pipe Dream. Qualitative and quantitative results suggest critical applications to artistic practices in playwriting, directing, and design.
