Abstract
This paper is based on field observations and collections
made by the author while connected with the Biological Survey
of the University of Kansas, in Northwestern Kansas, during the summer of 1912. Specimens of fully developed insects, upon which biological notes were based were identified by means of the Snow Entomological Collections. The caterpillars, parasitic larval, and cocoon, were identified to species or family as the case might be, by Francis X. Williams, assistant curator of the Entomological Snow Collections.
