Abstract
Broadcast Transcript: Beijing might have spent billions of dollars creating the very model of a modern Olympic venue but they don't know squat about bathrooms. At least not according to the world class athletes whose voluble complaints have inspired a bathroom makeover here. See, Chinese toilets are traditionally holes in the ground that you squat over. The west prefers the sit down variety. Never mind that squatting improves the quads and the glutes, squat toilets are out: Olympic athletes want seats, thank you very much. So renovation is underway at the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube and the Indoor Stadium. Dude! Let's potty! #ceas #china #hacker #tsutsui
