However, the real beginning of Slovene lexicography is the work Dictionarium quatuor linguarum by Hieronymus Megiser.Publication Besedotvorje predmetnopomenskih besed v Bohoričevi slovnici Zimske urice proste(2008-02-01) Breznik, Irena StramljičThis article takes into account word-formation of the most typical meaningful word categories in the first Slovene Grammar Book written by Adam Bohorič. The paper is an attempt to identify the competitive relations between these suffixes and discern the differences between Primož Trubar and Jurij Dalmatin with regard to their use. The paper also attempts to shed light on the complex issue of forming literary neologisms in the16th century.Publication Ženski pari moških poimenovanj v slovenskem knjižnem jeziku 16. stoletja(2008-02-01) Merše, MajdaThe paper discusses the usage of feminine designations in 16th century standard Slovenian by presenting their basic semantic groups and formational patterns. Feminine pairs of masculine designations, in comparison with masculine pairs, are examined based on semantic symmetry and the frequency of use. The paper presents and causally explains groups of just masculine and just feminine designations while discussing the manner in which representatives of groups composed of masculine and feminine elements were selected.Publication Protipomenskost v Trubarjevem Katehizmu z dvejma izlagama iz leta 1575(2008-02-01) Orel, IrenaThe paper will illustrate the systematic and textual use of antonymy in Trubar’s most polemical text, Catehismus s dveima islagama (Catechism with Two Interpretations) which emphasises the duality of interpretation in its very title, while the religious dichotomy is also expressed in the Pridiga od stare prave inu krive vere (Sermon on the Old, True Faith and the False Faith) which will be analysed in more detail.Publication Trubarjev gmajn jezik kot osnova za prvo slovensko knjižno normo(2008-02-01) Jesenšek, Marko“Gmajn” literary language is based on the spoken language, which was familiar to Trubar from the Lower Carniola region. However, he upgraded it with Upper Carniolan, and with the language spoken in Ljubljana. “Gmajn” language is a synonym for Carniolan Language (kranjski jezik) which is known as being universally comprehensible. At the same time, “Gmajn” language is a language compromise for the Central Slovene Standard Language.Publication Slavia Centralis. 2 (2008): 1-3.: Front Matter(2008-02-01)
